ROYAL OAK CROSS COUNTRY HAS ANOTHER RECORD-BREAKING EVENT!!
We participated in the Mt. Sac invitational, the largest cross country meet in the world, last Friday with thousands of runners from all over CA and even a few from Nevada. We took FIRST PLACE in both our 7th-grade races. Out of 243 seventh-grade girls, Miranda Ibarra placed FIRST. Fatima Gonzalez-Pena was close behind her in 8th place! Out of 361 seventh-grade boys, Mason Scherer placed FIRST. Our entire team did better than any team the Hendersons have ever coached and we are so proud and impressed! Come out to the track this Thursday to watch these amazing record-breaking athletes run on our home course!
