7th & 8th grade Volleyball

Recently a volleyball team has been made. This school year we have 8th and 7th grade volleyball. And the coaches for this year are Mrs.Burrell for 7th grade and Ms.MacKay for 8th grade.

In the 8th and 7th grade volleyball teams there are at least 15 or 16 girls on a team. Some of the girls are score takers and the rest play the game. 8th graders will be playing/practicing in the gym and 7th graders will be playing/practicing outside on the blacktop. Since it’s been so hot outside we’ve been practicing inside the gym until it gets fresh and there is a more appropriate weather to practice outside. We practice everyday except for Wednesdays. We have to have appropriate attire to practice in. We can’t wear jewelry and have to have our hair up while practicing.

The 8th and 7th graders will be playing on Mondays and Wednesday after school. Some days we will go to other schools to have games and other days we will have games and practice at our school.

These next weeks we will be practicing for our first game coming up on the 26th. We would love for some of you guys to attend and watch us play. Hope you have a great runner week!
